Allied Beef, Adcock Partners establish marketing partnership

Beef Central 23/04/2025

Two well known Queensland/NSW cattle and beef industry service providers have established a marketing partnership.

Allied Beef Group and Adcock Partners have established the new partnership to trade under the name Allied Rural Marketing. The Allied Markets business will continue to trade independently.

Toowoomba-based Allied Beef was established by James Maclean in 2007 and is a progressive beef cattle company which produces, manages, and markets premium beef cattle. The company’s marketing and procurement origins are in the key cattle regions of Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.

The company also owns and operates farm and feedlot operations at Gunyerwarildi Station, Warialda and Vandyke, Springsure.

Adcock Partners Property and Livestock commenced operation in 2019 and has experienced consistent growth since inception. This expanded business allows the continuation of strong foundations and a growth plan to better service clients.

The existing team of Michael Spencer (Inverell, NSW), Nick Hall (Walcha, NSW), Patrick Burke (Katherine, NT), Scott Bremner (Katherine, NT) and Brad Hine (Walcha, NSW) will remain with Allied Rural Marketing.

“Adcock Partners has great northern and southern coverage and we feel that the combined business units will present a number of synergies in cattle and property marketing in the future,” a joint statement said.

“We will continue to look to grow this marketing part of the business so are always interested in talking with operators in the space.”

The new business will commence operations on 1 May.

“The merging of these two businesses brings together years of combined experience and will create an innovative rural marketing platform that will better assist current and new clients,” the statement said.

“Both businesses have always prided themselves on delivering superior services to maximise opportunities for clients in a competitive marketplace. Moving forward, whether it’s marketing of livestock or rural property or offering strategic advice to maximise returns, we will leverage our decades of practical experience, market knowledge, and industry connections to get clients the best possible results.”
